The following results have been derived in some previous papers: (i) The so-called scalar-tetradic theories A and B agree with present observational evidences, and (ii) theory A leads to potential advantages with respect to General Relativity (energy density of the universe); since these results are satisfactory, new aspects must be treated. Here, the equations describing the evolution of a spherically symmetric density perturbation in a matter dominated cosmological background are derived. The linear and some nonlinear effects are taken into account to obtain the same results as in Einstein's theory for some particular cosmological backgrounds of theories A and B. However, if other more general cosmologies are assumed, the derivation of new results being different from those of General Relativity appears to be possible.
