Balmer line profile variations of CI Cygni during the initial phase of
1975 eclipse were analyzed. The eclipse in Balmer series starts before
the first contact of the V light curve. Variations of H-beta and H-delta
profiles during the eclipse ingress suggest that a rotating and possibly
expanding ring is eclipsed.
