Scientific paper
The discovery of dark matter is discussed in this article. Dark matter emits no electromagnetic radiation like visible light, X-rays, or radio waves, but reveals itself by its gravity. Gas clouds, remnants of dead stars, and primordial black holes make up what scientists believe to be dark matter. There may also be new types of elementary particles not yet discovered.
