XMM AO3 observations have revealed hard X-ray emission from the B0.5e star HD161103. The X-ray spectrum shares many similarities with that of Gamma-Cas and with those of cataclysmic variables. HD161103 appears as one of the best Be+white dwarf binary candidate. Whereas evolutionary models predict the existence of a numerous population of Be+white dwarf binaries, no such system has ever been confirmed so far. In our short 17ks AO3 observation we detect a strong 3.2ks period modulation which could reflect the spin period of an accreting white dwarf. We propose to check the stability of the periodicity in order to confirm or reject the presence of a stable clock in the system.
