Supernova remnants (SNRs) with unusual morphologies indicate complicated interactions with their surroundings, demonstrating the wide variety of conditions into which supernovae explode. G350.1-0.3 is a long-overlooked radio and X-ray source with a bizarre morphology, which we argue is a very young and luminous SNR expanding into dense ambient gas. We here propose imaging and spectroscopic observations of G350.1-0.3 with XMM, through which we can probe the physical conditions in this SNR and begin to understand its interaction with its surroundings.
