The effect of Wolfenstein neutrino-oscillation enhancement on atmospheric neutrinos is considered. The effect of these neutrino oscillations on data from proton-decay experiments is discussed. It is found that for ΔM2~10-3-10-4 eV2 and sin2(2theta)>=3×10-2, νe⇆νμ oscillations might be detectable.
