The dispersing of the corona of a spatially bounded stream of solar electrons is considered under conditions when the distribution function of fast particles becomes unstable relative to excitation of the cyclotron mode of plasma waves, in addition to the Cherenkov mode. Equations for the evolution of the stream distribution function are obtained from quasi-linear equations for the case of weak excitation of the cyclotron branch of waves. An analysis of their solution showed that excitation of the cyclotron branch of plasma waves leads to deceleration of the stream: the density of energetic particles at its front decreases in comparison with the case of quasi-linear dispersal, while it grows in the slower part of the stream. The transverse energy of particles interacting with cyclotron waves also grows. The properties of a stream of fast electrons in regions of strong excitation of cyclotron waves are qualitatively analyzed using simple physical considerations. The mechanism under consideration may be important in the formation of the diffuse component of solar electron streams.
