The LASCO data base contains over 5000 CMEs, observed from 1996-2001. We have developed an automated procedure to calibrate the associated LASCO images and to calculate the CME properties. Of the total number of CMEs, we have been able to calculate the mass and energetics of about 80% of the total number of events. Here we report on the analysis of the mass and energy properties of over 3000 CMEs and compare them to previous observations of CMEs.
