The dependence of Doppler-velocity oscillations on the variations of geophysical parameters is considered, and emphasis is placed on the height profiles of Doppler velocity-oscillations in relation to radio-sounding frequencies, variations with electron-concentration profiles and magnetic modes, and the dependence on scale length and pulsation frequencies. It is demonstrated that the relationship depends most significantly on the shape of the electron-concentration profile and on the sign of the North-South component of the wavevector, along with the pulsation frequency and magnetic inclination.
