An analysis is made of the restricted problem of the translational-rotational motion of a dynamically symmetric rigid body in the gravitational field of two spheres. The motion of the bodies is described by canonical osculating elements, and a multiple Fourier series expansion is obtained for the approximate value of the force function. An averaging method is used to construct a family of particular solutions, for which necessary stability conditions are found in the first approximation.
