The high photometric stability needed by the COROT mission, requires an exhaustive analysis of all instrumental and environmental perturbations. This analysis is briefly summarized in this paper. Two points which could be useful for the MONS team are detailed. They concern the optical design and its consequences on the on board data processing and the attitude control system (ACS) design. Temperature stability is critical for the COROT noise budget and will be more extensively, but quickly described.
