The paper considers observed commensurabilities as the result of dynamic relaxation of spatially restricted mechanical systems with an attracting nonpoint center with a force field of Newtonian-type spherical symmetry. The solution of the derived homogeneous linear differential equation leads to a formula in which the linear scale element of commensurability of major axes is determined directly by the mass of the central body; this makes it possible to explain commensurabilities from a common conceptual position. The unified formula represents satellite distribution in the central body systems such as the sun, Jupiter and Saturn; making it possible to forecast the mean distances in the recently discovered Chyron and Uranus ring systems.
