We discuss the issue of initial conditions for inflation in models with sub-millimeter internal spaces and in Pre-Big Bang. The models based on sub-millimeter internal spaces are consistent with the inflationary paradigm with their initial conditions if inflation takes place before the stabilization of the internal space. In contrast, the Pre-Big Bang model requires special initial conditions to make our universe.
