The energy dependence of time lags arising in the electron trap models for solar hard X-ray bursts is investigated, and an algorithm for the statistical analysis of such time lags is proposed. An analysis is made of 80 flares detected with the Sneg-2M3 instruments on the Venera 13 and 14 probes. Statistically significant time lags were observed in two of these flares.
