We have evaluated the dynamics of magma transport and volcanic eruptions on the eucrite parent body, which we assume to be 4 Vesta. Dikes would have had vertical extents of 1-20 km and widths of 10 mm to 3 m. Those that reached the surface fed eruptions lasting from 6-30 hours, with effusion rates between 0.05 and > 3 m^3 s^(-1) per meter of horizontal fissure outcrop. Erupted volumes ranged from 50 x 10^6 to 900 x 10^6 m^3, producing volume-limited flows from a few km to several tens of km long and up to a few km wide. The flows would be 5-20 m thick, consistent with thicknesses inferred from plagioclase crystal sizes in eucrites.
