Scientific paper

This paper investigated the effect of accelerated electrons generated in plasma under certain conditions on the measurements of the spacecraft's electrical potential in ionospheric experiments with electron beam injection. Results of calculations show that accelerated electrons may significantly affect instrumental measurements of the spacecraft's electrical potential. The effect occurs only in regions in which the generation of accelerated electrons is possible.
