The constructing Keck 10 m telescope (WMKT) and the planned 7.5 m Japanese national large telescope (JNLT) on Mauna Kea will have coudé focus and light combining tunnel between them. Since a separation of both telescopes will be about 130 m, one can make a long baseline optical interferometer although there remain some difficulties to be solved.
