Recent observations of the solar wind velocity by interplanetary scintillation method are reviewed. The method of analysis of observations, the latitude dependence of the solar wind velocity, the relation between coronal structures and high-speed streams, and the large-scale properties of flare-associated interplanetary disturbances are discussed.
