An internal consistency is demonstrated for the solar microwave flux when mean annual values were considered. The data consisted of daily flux measurements at 10.7, 3, 8, and 30 cm, the relative sunspot numbers, and the solar Ca II plage indices. Regression analyses for simultaneous readings in each data set included factors such as H-Lyman alpha, H-Lyman beta, He I resonance, and He II-Lyman alpha lines. The data were gathered by instrumentation on board the OSO-5 and AE E spacecraft. The line data are shown to behave similarly with respect to the 3, 8, and 10.7 radio emissions. The slope of the mean variance of solar UV emissions relative to the level of solar activity was calculated. The H-Ly alpha, H-Ly beta, and He I and He II lines were found to increase 60, 80, and 90 percent, respectively, over the solar minimum to solar maximum interval.
