The Jupiter radio bursts are characterized by their duration which may be from milliseconds to seconds and by their complex structure on the frequency-time plane. Questions of classification are considered, taking into account L bursts, fast L bursts, shadow drift pairs, the S bursts, and U bursts. Attention is also given to aspects of polarization, theories, and Pioneer 10 magnetic field observations.
