The energy aspects of a possible transition of galactic to metagalactic cosmic rays are analyzed. The absolute value of the flux density of metagalactic protons from normal galaxies is calculated with allowance for the distribution of the galaxies with respect to the indices of the gamma spectrum deduced from the known distribution of normal galaxies with respect to radio indices. It is noted that normal galaxies are the main contributors to metagalactic cosmic rays.
