As a stringent test of the nonrelativistic QCD factorization approach, which has been successful in explaining the larger-than-expected production rates of heavy quarkonia, we discuss the recent measurements of polarization of JPC=1-- heavy quarkonia by the CDF Collaboration at the Fermilab Tevatron compared with the predictions based on the nonrelativistic QCD factorization approach. .
