It is shown that the electron density in the D, E, and F regions over the Eurasian region experiences strong zonal variations with a wavenumber greater than 1. Owing to this, the latitude-longitude structure of the inner ionosphere acquires a speckled character. The amplitude of zonal variations of the electron density characteristic for a given latitude depends on the time of day, the season, and the level of solar activity.
