RVs were measured by sliding of direct and mirrored line profile in radial-velocity until the best match was achieved. This was done manually with the program SPEFO written by Dr. Jiri Horn and automatically with a program written by Dr. A. Miroshnichenko.
Gamma Cassiopeiae shows long-term radial-velocity changes. In order to study variations on shorter timescales one has to remove the long-term variations. We splitted measured RVs into subsets covering time interval of up to 3 orbital periods P=203.52d. We fitted RVs in a subsets with Keplerian curve and derived systemic velocity for each subset. We fitted these systemic velocities with Hermite polynomials and substracted the model curve from measured RVs.
