The enthalpy of MgSiO3 perovskite has been remeasured more precisely and
the transition boundaries from ilmenite to perovskite and from spinel to
perovskite + periclase have been calculated. The slopes of the
boundaries are discussed in the light of recent simulation studies of
the mantle convection.
