Electrons with energies ranging from 80 to 2300 MeV were measured at heights between 230 and 300 km at the equator, mid-latitudes, and high latitudes during the period from May 17 to 24, 1972. The instrument employed is described. Expressions for the electron spectra at these latitudes are derived and analyzed. The latitudinal variation of electrons with energies of 80, 260, and 540 MeV is illustrated.
