The magnetic axis of Jupiter precesses about the planetary rotation axis during each diurnal rotation of period 9 hrs and 55 min. In this paper, the primary effect of this diurnal motion is calculated. Calculations yield global magnetopause models with the interior sources' axis tilted +/-10 deg with respect to the normal to the plane of the incident solar wind (approximated to be coincident with the planet's equatorial plane). The magnetic fields arising from the magnetohydrodynamically stable currents on the magnetopause are calculated.
