Possibilities of the videopolarimetry technology based on an earth
orbiting planetary telescope are discussed. Areas in which ground-base
polarimetry have already demonstrated its merits by important results
include soil physics on planetary surfaces; cometary physics and dust
grains; and mists, clouds, storms in planetary atmospheres.
