The characteristics of Forbush decreases occurring during the intersection by the earth of recurrent high-velocity streams of the solar wind are studied for 1973-1974 on the basis of data for 62 such streams from King's (1977) catalog. Attention is given to the relationship between the amplitude of Forbush decreases and the stream velocity, as well as to the dependence of the amplitude on field direction in the streams. It is shown that the exponent of the power energy spectrum of the Forbush effect decreases as the stream velocity increases.
