The chromoelectric flux tube model, which is an effective model of the quark confinement, provides a low baryon penetrability at the surface of the strange quark matter. Applying the low penetrability to the evaporation process of the primordial strange quark nuggets, we find that the nuggets having a baryon number greater than 1039 could survive evaporation into nucleons, suggesting a possible detection of such objects or their fragments in the present Universe.
