The coupled gravitational and neutrino field perturbations of a type D solution of the Einstein-Weyl equations are studied, reducing the problem to a system of four first-order ordinary differential equations. It is explicitly shown that there exist purely gravitational linear perturbations of the background solution considered here, such that the perturbed fields form an exact solution of the Einstein-Weyl equations.
