Numerical solutions to the magnetic induction equation in a sphere are obtained for a number of stationary velocity models. The difficulty in finding convergent steady solutions previously is explained by searching for nonsteady magnetic fields and showing that all magnetic field modes decay. Some nondecaying fields were found where only decaying or nonconvergent results were reported previously.
