The exploration of the nuclear matter phase diagram is the premier goal of high energy heavy ion physics. Of special interest are phase transitions, and their modification due to the presence of extreme finite-size corrections. Recent experiments (ISiS, EoS, 4pi, Miniball, Aladin) have collected strong evidence for a phase transition in the process of nuclear multi-fragmentation, by utilizing the techniques of moment analysis and scaling analysis. Comparison of these data with modern lattice-based models, in particular percolation-based models, lead us to conclude that the critical point of nuclear matter and its set of scaling exponents have been discovered.
