The Asymptotic Normalization Method has been successfully applied to a variety of transfer reactions to extract Astrophysical information. It relies essentially on the validity of the DWBA formalism for the reaction mechanism. Coupled Channel calculations are performed for a few applications in order to estimate the importance of multiple step processes. Results suggest that while the (14N, 13C) vertex appears to introduce no coupling effects, the same can not be said for the (10B, 9Be) vertex. Further measurements are underway. .
