Measurements of LF whistler-mode signals transmitted from three Decca stations were recorded at multiple observing points in the magnetic conjugate area around Birdsville, Australia. The results are used to clarify the ducted propagation of LF whistler-mode signals. Wave growth due to interactions with energetic electrons is examined in association with magnetic disturbances.
