Two optical designs are studied in connection with Japanese National Large Telescopes (JNLTs): the primary focus corrector optimized for the use of three wavelengths and three angles of incidence; and the f/1.4 prototype camera to be used in a spectrograph of JNLT. Characteristics of images of the primary corrector for various parameters in the optimization are illustrated with diagrams.
