The methods used for gain and phase adjustment of the 22 sections of the
530 m long cylindrical radio telescope at Ootacamund which operates at
326.5 MHz are described. Periodic adjustments are made by observing
strong radio sources. A monitoring system using the modulated reflection
technique has been installed for rapid measurements.
