We show that dynamical systems describing string-generated cosmological
models may be non-analytic. This yields an ambiguity in the evolution of
such models and, in addition, is connected with some kind of
singularity, which induces R-->∞. The case of D-dimensional
Friedman-Robertson-Walker models has been examined as an example.
