A review is made of data obtained from various types of research on Jupiter's atmosphere, including direct visual observations, photometric and spectrophotometric analysis, and spectroscopic studies. The research indicates that the bright bands of Jupiter's atmosphere are more transparent than the dark bands, thus allowing observation of deeper layers. It is found that the angular rotational speed of Jupiter's atmosphere decreases with altitude.
