The shape of the surface of the heliospheric current sheet is investigated in the kinematic approximation. It is demonstrated that this shape is determined by the rotation of the Sun, the form of the neutral lines of the magnetic field at the surface of the Sun, and the inhomogeneity of the solar-wind velocity field. The process of distortion and formation of three-dimensional folds at the surface of the current sheet in the heliosphere is traced.
