In the present study approximation equations that describe the motion of
an artificial satellite in the form of a planar disc with rigid and
visoelastic booms travelling in the gravitational field of a
nonsymmetrical planet (in its equatorial plane) are obtained in terms of
Delaunay's canocical variables by means of the averaging method.
