The expected contrast between bright and dark elements in the solar atmosphere are calculated for the 3 mm-10 cm radio wavelength range using previous models devised from EUV line intensity data. The brightness was computed in relation to the cell center, and average network differential emission measure, assuming a temperature range of 89,000-1,000,000 K. The radio temperature attributable to free-free emission is integrated for the presence and absence of a magnetic field, which when in evidence varies with height above the solar surface. Consideration is given to the behavior of the network projected by four different analytical models in relation to the frequencies of temperature changes and average contrasts. It is found that the inhomogeneities in the quiet sun at mm and cm radio wavelengths are consistent with the cell and network structure observed in the Ca II lines in the solar chromosphere.
