Young Stellar Objects: Circumstellar Disks

The fundamental theory of star formation predicts the wide existence of circumstellar disks around the young stellar objects. Restricted by the conservation law of angular momentum, the protostellar core deviates more significantly as the contraction proceeds. As a consequence, a star-disk system develops and, at an early stage of its evolution, can be observed in molecular lines.
