New measurements of the number density of the Network Bright Points
confirm the variation of the density of the photospheric network at the
center of the disk during the solar cycle and that in the period
1983-1985, this number density (i.e. the magnetic flux in the quiet Sun)
was maximum, both at the poles and at the equator.
