66 Ari A, which was found by the occultation method to be double with a projected linear separation of only about 1/2 AU, has for ten years maintained a constant radial velocity which is the same as it had in 1920. The most likely explanation is that it is not in fact double. HD 64704, whose duplicity has been confirmed by direct observation, shows marginal radial-velocity changes on a time-scale commensurate with that of the visual orbit.
