Centimeter bursts and type 4 bursts are interpreted as synchrotron sradiation. Type 3 and type 2 bursts are probably due to excitation of soscillations of the coronal plasma by high energy particles. The sparticles that create type R are probably trapped in a magneto-dynamic swave. Radio storms are similarly due to particles ejected during an seruption and remaining-trapped for several days in the magnetic sconfigurations near the sun.
