We present an activity profile of the Taurid meteor stream between 1988 and 2005, based upon visual observations by members of the DMS and IMO. These observations show up to 50 in resonance years in the first week of November solar longitude app. 220g-225g (2000.0)), as predicted by Asher and Izumi (1998). Our analysis suggests that the increase originates primarily from the Southern Taurid branch.
