The Tenerife Vacuum Tower Telescope, which is designed to study solar
magnetic fields with high spatial resolution, are discussed. The
spectrograph and the structure of the associated universal filter are
described. Observations of the magnetic field structure inside a sunspot
umbra are presented and discussed.
