AMS-02 is a high precision magnetic spectrometer scheduled to be placed on the International Space Station (ISS) in 2008. This proceeding focuses on the Transition Radiation sub-detector (TRD) which allows positron/proton separation up to 300 GeV and how this will affect the search for signatures of neutralino dark matter in cosmic rays. The design, testing, and current status of the TRD will be discussed.
