As part of a continuing programme to observe rapid light variations in
stars, we have monitored the faint blue proper-motion star G44-32 (ref.
1). This star has recently been shown to be variable with a range of
about 0.02 magnitudes, with quasi-periods in the range 10 to 27
min2.
